Jem is a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with children and their families. With an undergraduate degree in psychological science, she has a particular interest in mental health and family dynamics. Jem aims to take a holistic and family-centred approach to feeding therapy, looking at feeding in the context of the child, their family and the home/school environment.
As an occupational therapist, her key work centres around helping individuals re-engage in activities that bring meaning to their life. Participating in feeding and mealtimes are incredibly meaningful occupations. Jem works with the child and their family to seek creative and evidence-based solutions to assist each child to engage.
