Since graduating from Flinders University in 2007, Skye has worked as a paediatric speech pathologist in both South Australia and Tasmania providing services in not for profit, private clinic and educational settings. Prior to returning to South Australia in 2015, Skye worked in Tasmania providing assessment and therapy services for children with speech and language delays and disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, intellectual and physical disability, complex communication needs, and complex medical and feeding difficulties. Skye has participated in a range of professional development courses focussing on feeding difficulties and their assessment and treatment and is committed to ongoing development in this area.
Over the years, Skye has developed a keen interest in the areas of paediatric feeding, feeding difficulties, tongue and lip ties and breastfeeding and the effect difficulties in these areas can have on clients and their families. Skye enjoys working closely with families to ensure targeted, family centred therapy to meet the needs of both the client and their family.
