Lauren is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a decade of experience in the dynamic field of nutrition. With a passion for paediatric nutrition, Lauren’s journey has taken her through various healthcare settings in both South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, where she has worked in neonatal and paediatric intensive care units and across paediatric, surgical, medical, and oncology sectors.
Her comprehensive experience includes managing a wide range of conditions, such as gastroenterology disorders, food allergies, cystic fibrosis, paediatric diabetes, cerebral palsy, picky eating, and weight management.
Lauren has played a vital role in nutritionally managing tube-fed infants and children. As well as providing essential support to families while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help wean infants and children off tube feeds when the time is right.
Lauren’s passion lies in nurturing positive relationships with food during the early years, recognizing the profound impact it has on a child’s development and the family’s well-being. She is dedicated to creating the best possible outcomes for both the child and their family.
Outside of the world of nutrition Lauren is a Mom to an energetic little boy, a running enthusiast and big dog lover!
